The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of Alberta (CPHR Alberta) is a non-for-profit professional association dedicated to strengthening the human resources profession and upholding the highest standards of practice.
The Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) Designation
Obtaining this designation is a three step process. It requires:
- Membership in CPHR Alberta,
- Successful completion of the National Knowledge Exam® (NKE) or NKE waiver approval, and
- Completion of the Experience Validation Assessment.
Courses in the Human Resource Management Certificate help prepare students to take the NKE exam, and may be used for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
