Continuing Education will defer to the University of Calgary's Student Misconduct and Academic Appeals Policy for appeals and reappraisals of grades.
- Students seeking a reappraisal of a piece of graded term work (term paper, essay, test, etc.), final assessment, or in the calculation of their final mark must attempt to review the assessment with the instructor and provide proof of this interaction (e.g. emails).
- Reappraisals will only be considered if the student provides a detailed rationale that outlines where and for what reason an error is suspected with supporting documents.
- Students should be aware that the reappraised grade will be final, regardless of whether that grade is higher, lower, or the same as the original grade.
- All reappraisal requests must be initiated within 30 days of the date the official grade is posted in the student portal.
