Document Management encompasses the processes, techniques, and technologies for controlling and organizing documentation and data, whether stored electronically, on paper, or in digital form. This control includes the scoping and expectations, how documentation and data is captured, stored, and accessed, and the use of data and information stored outside relational databases. This includes any document, drawing, graphic, image, text, report, form, video, or sound recording in both the modifiable and in the published format.
