Course Description

New students must write the Part-Time ESL Placement Test before registering for a Part-Time ESL Course.

Test Format: Multiple choice, with listening and grammar sections.
Course Registration: Registration will be available after completion of the placement test. Please note that course sections are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Course Payment:
Online registration: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
In person registration: Cash, debit
English Language Proficiency Test Students: You must test at a high advanced level of English as outlined in the course, ENL 510 - ESL 5 to meet the Continuing Education English Language Proficiency requirement.

Notes

Part-time ESL placement test scores are valid for 1 year.

Section Notes

New students are required to register and complete the online Part-Time ESL Placement Test before course registration.

Students will receive an email with the online placement test instructions shortly after registration. Students can take the placement test anytime before the Winter 2025 Part-Time ESL Courses start. The test will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.

After the placement test, you will be notified of your results and provided with course registration instructions within 10 business days.
