Course Description

Explore the elements needed to design effective user environments and enhance user satisfaction by improving the usability, ease of use, and visual appeal of the interaction between a user and a digital product. Discover how a great product experience starts with User Experience Design (UX) followed by User Interface Design (UI).

Course Details

Course assignments are application based; at the end of the course, you may be able to use some of this work to build your portfolio.

For this course you will need web access to the Adobe XD, which may be downloaded from Adobe at student pricing, and the InVision app.

Classes are held online in real time (Mountain Time) at the specified time and dates.

You will require access to a computer with the required software, Internet connection, a headset with speakers and microphone, webcam, and a monitor large enough to display multiple applications (or the use of two monitors).

This course uses Desire2Learn (D2L), an online learning management system, and Adobe Connect (AC) web conferencing software. The instructor will post your course outline and other materials in D2L. If you are unfamiliar with the D2L and AC learning tools it is strongly recommended to take BMC 352 Learning Online prior to enrolling in this course. Unless notified, all online courses are available one day before the start date. Students who register on (or after) the start date will receive access within one day of registration.
